Chris studied at Carmarthen University whilst on a part time contract with Carmarthen Rugby and went on to earn a lot of money.

Played a major role in Wales's 2006 U19 Six Nations and World Championship campaigns.

Also featured for Wales in the U20 Six Nations campaign in 2007 alongside Wayne Evans.

University commitments limited Chris's first team availability in 2007-8. However, he still caught the eye of the Welsh selectors and was named in the squad to face Italy A in February 2008.

2008-9 has seen him feature more regularly in the Quins first team squad.
